Brand Identity Design Services

Build a brand that looks, sounds, and feels like you.

Start your brand project

Designed by Perri Pruitt, who brings eight years in marketing for clients, companies and nonprofits and an advertising degree from UGA. Every brand project is led by the two of us, start to finish.

Branding is the identity everything else gets built on. Get it right once and every ad, page, and email gets easier.

Whether you are launching something new or refreshing an existing identity, we handle logo design, brand strategy, and the messaging system underneath it, so branding and web design pull in the same direction instead of fighting each other. Every project here is a reflection of your vision, not ours. Our job is to get inside your world and bring it to life.

Signs it's time for a new brand identity

  • You look different everywhere. Your website, social profiles and printed pieces don't feel like the same business.
  • You've outgrown it. What you sell, or who you sell to, has changed since the logo was made.
  • You can't say what makes you different in one sentence. That's a strategy gap, and our post on brand strategy vs. marketing strategy explains why it comes first.
  • You hesitate to send people to your website. If your brand makes you wince, it's probably costing you customers too.
  • You're launching something new. A new business, product or location is the right moment to get the identity right.

Not sure? A quick brand audit shows what to keep, what to fix and what to refresh.

How a branding project works

  1. We listen. We learn your business, your customers and your competitors, and look honestly at what your current brand is doing well.
  2. We set the strategy. Positioning, messaging and voice: what makes you different and how to say it.
  3. We design the identity. Logo, colors and fonts, refined together with you until it feels like you.
  4. We hand it over ready to use. Brand guidelines and every file you need, and if you'd like, we apply it to your website and your monthly marketing through a retainer.

When branding is not the right call

If you already have a brand you are happy with and you just need someone to execute against it, skip this and look at a retainer or design support. A full identity project is worth it when the current one is holding you back, not when it is only a little dated.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do brand identity design services include?

Usually a logo with secondary versions and an icon, a color palette, fonts, messaging and taglines, and brand guidelines that put it all in one place. We shape the exact list around what your business needs.

What's the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one piece. A brand identity is the whole system around it: colors, fonts, the way you talk about what you do, and the rules that keep it consistent everywhere it shows up.

How much does brand identity design cost?

It depends on how much you need, from a logo refresh to a full identity with messaging and guidelines. We price every project to the work involved, and we'll give you an honest range on a 30-minute call.

Can you refresh our existing brand instead of starting over?

Yes. If parts of your brand are working, we keep them and fix what isn't. A refresh is often the smarter move when the brand is a little dated rather than holding you back.

Do you design logos on their own?

Yes, as a one-time project. Most businesses get more out of a logo when it comes with a color palette and fonts, so everything you make afterward matches.

Do you design websites to match the new brand?

Yes. Branding and web design work best together, and we do both. You can see how we approach websites on our website design page.
